Unreal C++ Multiplayer Programmer (contract)

Tricky Fast Studios is looking for several contract C++ Unreal multiplayer programmers with at least 2 years professional experience with Unreal and one or more shipped games or other
applications. In particular, we’d like applicants to have deep experience with Unreal’s networking implementation as well as console and Steam development. The project is to add a multiplayer game mode to a game that was released recently. It’s full time, remote, and would be expected to last at least 5 months. We are currently limiting this to the US and Canada.

REQUIREMENTS:

Mid – Senior C++ Game Engine Tools Engineer (Contract)

Tricky Fast Studios is looking for a Mid to Senior Level Game Engine Tools Engineer who is proficient in C++. We work with all different types of games and often with well-known IP. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Part-Time Server Side Java Engineer (Contract-~4 Months)

Tricky Fast Studios is looking for a Server-Side Java Engineer with Game Dev experience. This a location-based AR product, so experience in location-based AR is of course a huge plus. We work with all different types of games and often with well-known IP. We are looking for people with at least 2 shipped titles. Work should kick off in early June and last about 4 months. Part time availability is acceptable. The work is remote, but the position is restricted to those located in the US or Canada.

We are looking for an experienced back end engineer that is capable of working on different aspects of the server side of this project. The ideal candidate has experience in databases, server code, or other back end systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You are an expert in using Java with +4 years of work experience
  • At least two shipped game titles
  • Database expertise
  • Thorough understanding of game server technology

PREFERENCES

  • Location based AR experience
