Tricky Fast Studios is always looking to hire new talent! We work with all different types of games and often with well-known IPs. All positions currently require applicants to either have worked on one or more shipped games or require applicants to have software experience in a specific field. The work is full time and remote, but the position is restricted to those located in the US or Canada.

Mid or Senior-Level Unity Engineer

Tricky Fast Studios is currently looking for a mid or senior level software engineer contractor with Unity experience. The work is full time and remote, and the contract is scheduled to last for six months (though an extension is possible at the end of this period.) At this time, this contract is restricted to those located in the US or Canada.

Tricky Fast works with all different types of games and often with well-known IPs like Star Trek, Dungeons and Dragons, and the Walking Dead. We’ve worked for big-name clients like Hasbro, Sega, Unity, and Twitch, and have contributed to successful titles like Subnautica, Outer Wilds, and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience working with the Unity Engine.
  • 2+ years of experience working with C#.
  • At least one shipped game.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working with the Unreal Engine.

Mid or Senior-Level Unreal Engineer

Tricky Fast Studios is currently looking for a mid or senior level software engineer contractor with Unreal experience. The work is full time and remote, and the contract is scheduled to last for six months (though an extension is possible at the end of this period.) Mid or Senior-Level Technical Artist

Tricky Fast Studios is currently looking for a mid or senior level technical artist contractor with Unreal experience. The work is full time and remote, and the contract is scheduled to last for six months (though an extension is possible at the end of this period.) At this time, this contract is restricted to those located in the US or Canada.

Tricky Fast works with all different types of games and often with well-known IPs like Star Trek, Dungeons and Dragons, and the Walking Dead.   • 2+ years of experience working with commercial 3D art software – Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience working with the Unreal Engine (Unreal 4) and Blueprints.
  • At least one shipped game.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 5 and C++.
  • Experience working with shaders in the Unreal Engine.

3D Game Artist and Animator

Tricky Fast Studios is currently looking for an experienced 3D game artist and animator contractor. The work is full time and remote, and the contract is scheduled to last for six months (though an extension is possible at the end of this period.) At this time, this contract is restricted to those located in the US or Canada.

Tricky Fast works with all different types of games and often with well-known IPs like Star Trek, Dungeons and Dragons, and the Walking Dead. We’ve worked for big-name clients like Hasbro, Sega, Unity, and Twitch, and have contributed to successful titles like Subnautica, Outer Wilds, and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience working with commercial 3D art software – Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience creating 3D character art, 3D environmental art, and/or 3D animations.
  • At least one shipped game.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working with the Unreal Engine (Unreal 4 or 5) or the Unity Engine.
